Upon reviewing the national strike in Ecuador in 2019 against the economic measures taken by the government, there is an interest in investigating the new ways in which social demonstrations are recorded and reproduced on digital platforms (which are presented as borderless territories), particularly the confrontations on social media that deeply divided the country during that period.

The intention to show possible ways in which we forge memories today arises as a kind of materialization of the tensions produced in the virtual battlefield generated from the tweets issued by users during that period. Thus, the messages from the Twitter timeline are transformed into pulses that audibly articulate the conflict.
